Styled by Sophie started simply as a hobby. I had always been such a crafty kid and I was always looking for new forms of art to discover and try out. I was given polymer clay one year as I christmas gift, and slowly I developed my basic skills. Later on, I became highly interested in the art form. I researched, experimented, and tested all sorts of clay techniques. I discovered many ways which to buy frugally and efficiently, while maintaining quality. All this I used to create beautiful earrings which I soon began to sell on Etsy and at craft fairs. Slowly I expanded my products and learned more about clay, useful products and techniques. And with expanding my knowledge, I wanted to share what I know with other crafters, experienced, beginner, or even those who have never heard of polymer clay. Polymer clay was only a start to sharing my artwork and selling it. I am also interested in painting and drawing and have excepted and carried out paired commissions. I love all varieties of crafts and art and i'm always excited when I learn something new. I hope this blog can be something helpful to others, as well as a personal outlet to express my self and get my name out there in the art world. As of now, a youtube channel is being developed to further expand my tutorials reviews.
